In words and figures following to wit: STATE OF INDIANA, CLAY COUNTY, SCT. Barbara Catherine Lints daughter of John Kaelber was born December 2, 1873 and departed this life November 28, 1939 at the age of 65 years 11 months and 26 days, she was united in marriage to Isaac F Lints on April 23, 1892, to this union was born, 4 sons and 7 daughters, one son and 3 daughters have proceeded her in death. In 1922 she united with the United Brothern Church and later moved her membership to the Church of God, where she remained a faithful member until death she was a loving mother, kind friend to those in need, and a good neighbor, she leaves to mourn her loss - the husband, 3 sons and 4 daughters, 34 grandchildren, besides a host of relatives and friends, she will be sadly missed but our loss is heavens gain.

Mrs Barbara Catherine Lints, wife of Isaac Lints, died at 4:40 o'clock this morning at the home one mile west of Ashboro in Sugar Ridge township, after an extended illness of complications, aged 66 years. Mrs Lints was born in Kansas, the daughter of Mr and Mrs. John Kaelber, who moved to Clay County when she was small. She is survived by the husband, four daughters and three sons, Mrs Mary Crowe, Mrs Flora Lunsford, and Mrs Hester Fulk, of near Center Point; Mrs Cora Hall and John T Lints of Illinois; Isaac F of Farmersburg, and Tillman Lints at home; also 33 grandchildren. The body was taken to the Rentschler Funeral Home at Center Point, and will be returned Wednesday afternoon to the residence where funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock Thursday afternoon, Interment Kaelber Cemetery.

Isaac F Lints, retired coal miner of Sugar Ridge Township, died Sunday afternoon at the home of a son, Tillman Lints, two miles west of Center Point, aged 72 years. Mr Lints was born in Clay County and was a son of John T and Charlotte Lints. He was a member of the Eel River Valley Church. The deceased is survived by four daughters, Mrs Mary Crowe, Mrs. Hester Fulk, Mrs. Flora Lunsford, all of Center Point, and Mrs. Cora Hall, Rock Island, Ill.; three sons, John T. Lints, Carbondale, Ill.; Tillman and Isaac of Center Point Rural Route and 33 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. The body was taken to the Rentschler Funeral Home and this afternoon will be returned to the home of the son, Tillman Lints where short services will be held at 1:00 o'clock Tuesday

Mary L O'Leary, 82 of Grants Pass died Tuesday, March 25, 2003 at her home. Visitation will be from 10am to 12:30pm Thursday at Chapel of the Valley Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Ken Harrington, pastor of Rogue River Assembley of God, officiating. Burial will be at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens. O'Leary was born April 9, 1920 in Cat Run, Missouri and was of Cherokee Indian heritage. She lived in San Bernardino California for several years before moving to Grants Pass in 1972. She enjoyed readig her Bible and listening to religious music. Survivors include a daughter, Geraldine Pritt of Grants Pass; a brother, John Lints of Grants Pass; four sisters, Lois Grammer of Seneca, Mo., Delores Lock of Corpus Christi, Texas, Bonnie Ellis of Carson, California and Wanda Bird of Goodman, Missouri; a granddaughter and three great-grandchildren.

Lewis Benjamin Crowe, 62 Greencastle died Saturday at Putnam County Hospital in Greencastle. Born in Howesville on October 06, 1926, he was the son of John W and Emma Charlotte Lints Crowe. He retired from the Indiana Department of Highways in Greencastle in 1977. He worked at the former Arketex Clay Plant in Brazil for 13 years. He was a member of Greencastle Moose Lodge, the Fraternal order of Eagles and Prairie City United Methodist Church. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Idabelle Laforce and a brother Albert Crowe. Survivors include his wife, Delores M Brown Crowe, whom he married on October 6, 1949; two daughers Charlotte Criss, Spencer and Alfreda Arnett, Highsprings, Florida; three sons, Terry L. Crowe, Bowling Green, Gary J. Crowe, Reelsville and Lewis B. Crowe Jr, Brazil, a brother Edgar Crowe Brazil; and 12 grandchildren. Services are scheduled for Tuesday at 2:30 pm at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home in Greencastle. The Rev. Warren Whittington will officate. Burial will be in Kaelber Cemetery in Center Point. Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 pm.10
